The Radio Stick Menus also work with iNav CleanFlight! Tried it on a FC with iNav 1.8 and it worked using the RunCam Split on the ports tab for UARTT 3 which was a pleasant surprise! There was no selection for "RunCam Device" on iNav CleanFlight so I just used "RunCam Split" selection for UART 3.

Nice job Dave...I hope they include this inside iNAV...???....Sooo full right Rudder takes you into the Cameras parameter menu..?....Should that not be on a dedicated switch perhaps?

Yes bump it to the right twice to enter menu, but perhaps it won't activate if you are armed and flying. It's a Beta version so we shall see when the pre-release comes out. I have been temped to try it with iNav 1.9 and see what happens. I just tried it on a FC with iNav 1.8 (to lazy to load 1.9) and it worked using the RunCam Split on the ports tab for UARTT 3 which was a pleasant surprise!

I have camera control from the transmitter on different quads using the camera control feature of betaflight on a motor pad (see github.com/betaflight/betaflight/wiki/FPV-Camera-Control-(Joystick-Emulation) ). Everything works nicely but I like the UART approach much better. Way to go, Runcam!

I'm trying to get my swift 3 wired to a f405-wing, my question is there any light on camera that shows when its powered up? Thanks

This camera is useless if you don't have extra uarts, you can't even turn off the in camera OSD without installing it to a flight controller.

Just a small tip: It can be hard to read the camera menu when betaflight OSD is active, especially after disarming when betaflight clutters the screen with post flight statistics. So I assigned a switch to "OSD DISABLE SW" in the betaflight modes tab so I can temporarily disable the betaflight OSD.

I'm not really enthusiastic about this. I honestly prefer using the old good OSD cable stick and change my settings, i generally don't tweak my camera settings over time unless i kill it and i have to use a new one! Please tell me we can still use the OSD cable stick on this camera :/ Thanks for sharing Dave and keep on reviewing all these goodies :)

That is a good question. Can we still we still use the OSD joystick dongle? My guess is that a passive dongle would not work and RunCam would have to make a serial port dongle that had a battery in it power the cam. Just guessing. If this gets to be a trend I would make one out of an old flight controller.

It's a Beta version that RunCam gave us for testing and making a "how-to" video on the connections. I am very appreciative of the opportunity. They said the release version is coming soon. Knowing them it won't be long. It's amazing how fast they push products out on the market.
