He didn’t actually kill them, here’s why, the knife kind of went beside the baby, not in it, he bent over and kissed the child, he only seemed to “kill” one child, they were both girls, so why wouldn’t he have killed both? After it shows the babies for a second, both unharmed! Afterwards he walks over, throws the knife in the ground, (that you can see has no blood on it) and literally says “I can’t do this” I’m only writing this comment because there’s people asking why he did it and some people are just confused if he did or not. Watch from 3:05 on and pay attention, you will see doesn’t kill them

My dad hates this movie because “it’s not biblically accurate!” But I love it because even though some things aren’t true at all (giant angels encased in stones and an army attacking the arc and Noah being told to kill all of humanity etc...) it provides a great twist Noah thought that there was only good and only bad but then he went to the camp and saw that evil lives in everyone and so he decided that all of man must die to preserve gods beautiful creation and then god told him to kill his granddaughters but all along it was a test god knew that his creation was worth saving why else spare Noah and his family in the first place but he needed to prove it mankind that they themselves were worth saving it was Noah’s test to see if humanity was worth it and Noah was going to do it was going to kill them but as methuselah said “the decision rests with Noah” not with god if man thought they were beyond saving then so be it but Noah was so consumed with pleasing god fulfilling his commitment that he never realized the choice was his the. When she sang that song he realized yes there is evil but also good in humanity and as he looked down at them he only saw good and so spared them even if it meant failure it a great and more elaborate twist to the original story

Seems like Emma Watson would have helped him kill the babies. Her being in the movie totally killed it for me.

Y’all getting flipping emotional and all I’m upset about is the fact that they invented this weirdness that’s nowhere in the Bible and made Noah out to be a murderer! What the actual heck

bc they're girls, therefore capable of having bearing children, which boys wouldn't be. noah, up to this point, had the belief that god's will was to obliterate ALL of humanity and that it was meant to die out with him and his family.

He never did because it never happened. None of this is in the Bible it's completely made up and false. All it does is make Noah and God look crazy and evil.
