Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺…..good interview Nima. I like Mr Martyanovs no nonsense attitude, although around the 18:00 minute mark he mentioned that a large percentage of Europeans don’t like Russians, I think that’s probably due to several factors, main one being up until the collapse of the Soviet Union to the European peoples the Soviets where a perceived threat and that’s hard to overcome and as the media in all western countries is “basically” a propaganda wing of the neo cons or even the C.I.A I think that even the sizable population of people who don’t hold any ill will towards Russia shows how these people can see things as they really are and I think Russia is gaining more friends as each week passes. I’m in my 60’s and had family who fought in WW 2 (Africa and Asia) and no one in my family has ever had anything but respect for Russia. With the current geopolitical situations around the world everyone I know believes its the United States that is the root cause of everything ….either by manipulating the situation or by supporting the continuation or escalation of the situation, so that’s Ukraine, Gaza & Taiwan, these are all situations the United States could easily resolve or help resolve but they won’t as the United States thrives on other countries sufferings, the death & destruction is like a drug to them, look at how the U.S congressman say things like…it’s good for business, there dying not us etc. To sum it up the United States is run by people who are overall unintelligent, immoral, hypocritical, deceitful narcissists and actually beleive they are the chosen by god to run the world (manifest destiny).

Putin wants to weaken the West by overstretching it diplomatically and industrially. Today a regional conflict which should have been irrelevant to NATO interests has become an existential matter for the NATO alliance, and NATO cannot win this war by proxy. It will either have to openly send troops or watch its credibility collapse and the alliance eventually fracture. The war has proven the West’s military industry is hollowed out, with Russia alone outproducing NATO 7:1 in artillery shells, and that will not change anytime soon. European countries have completely depleted their ammo stockpiles, Western publications have acknowledged nations like Germany, France, England have enough ammo only for several days of a high intensity conflict. European NATO may have a large manpower reserve but unless they plan on fighting with bayonets the depletion of ammunition is equivalent to a logistical defeat and is a compelling reason for NATO to not go to war at this stage. Also, Russia doesn’t want to be in a position 10, 20, 30 years down the line where the world refuses to recognize Crimea, Donetsk, etc as Russian. Forcing the government of Ukraine to formally cede those territories in a peace settlement will go a long way towards legitimizing this acquisition. Originally Russia wanted to negotiate this question with Zelensky but Russia’s patience with him and Zelensky’s term in office are both at an end. Russia doesn’t want the West to have an out by negotiating with Zelensky… “Zelensky couldn’t cede those territories, he wasn’t president.” It also doesn’t want it to have an out by erasing Ukraine’s government with missiles… “Russia replaced Ukraine’s government with an illegitimate one.” Zelensky must be removed by Ukraine and replaced with an undeniably legitimate government before Russia will be willing to negotiate in full. I think, however, that Russian patience is coming to an end and the war will not last past 2025. I don’t know whether Ukraine will exist at all by 2026, though I suspect Russia is happy to leave the Western regions as a weak rump state to seethe and serve as an exhaust valve for Ukrainian ultranationalism.

Ukrainian troops must be completely withdrawn from the territory of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions; The status of the regions must be recorded in international treaties. 2. Ukraine's commitment not to join NATO; 3. Neutral, non-aligned, non-nuclear status of Ukraine. 4. Demilitarization based on the Istanbul agreements. 5. Thank you anima for inviting the incredibly knowledgeable Andrei Martyanov back as a guest on your wonderful podcast! It is amazing the depth of knowledge he possesses, about so many diverse topics. We all get quite an education about the realities driving the current events unfolding all around us! Andrei’s responses put everything into proper perspective , and give us a better understanding of what motivates the destructive behaviors manifested by the leaders of the West! It is indeed a clown show that gets more bizarre with each passing day. Clearly there are no intelligent or competent people in positions of power, anywhere in the West. This is almost incomprehensible, but sadly is the reality. However, being led by such fools, opens the possibility that unintended and tragic consequences, might result from the reckless actions of these ill-informed Western leaders. It is most unsettling to know the kind of people calling the shots in the West! Thank you for inviting Andrei back as a recurring guest, on your podcast. Nah, they said Iraq was about the oil too. These are side benefits that greedy politicians also see as benefits but they are not the original reason. The reason is regime change, in this case Russian regime change using Ukraine. They want u t believe it's about money, it isn't. They could have had access to those resources anyway

When your political system is based on the military industrial complex. You have to create an arms flow. Otherwise the cash flow dries up. Politicians give the MIC orders, MIC gives the politicians election funds, politicians create wars to use the arms, politicians then give MIC new orders, and so on. Anything else is a bonus.

i think you are correct that we are not involved in another cuban missile dilemma. with russian warships in the carribean in the most unstable politics of my lifetime i think this is far more dangerous than ‘62.

FOR MR. ANDREI MARTYANOV. The original idea is not mine but now with the drones I think that the great Russia should do like in the film Master And Commander. In other words, making wooden tanks to serve as targets for drones and then locating where they came from to destroy them at their origin. In the film, the commander saw an insect that was disguising itself as a tree branch because of predators and decided to disguise his war boat as a commercial boat. It paid off. It is easy to make imitation wooden tanks with explosives inside and, if hit, they save real tanks and can also be used to explode against the enemy.

Euroclear--which custodies tens of trillions of dollars worth of assets--also has offices in Dubai, Beijing and Hong Kong, and Russia may find friendlier courts there, for obvious reasons.

Brilliant move calling to attention the Cuban missile crisis without the possibility of creating another one.
