I think they are great. but things have moved on since the 1990s, although the human body has not evolved in that short time.

Один из первых разгрузок - жилетов ,новой , российской армии.Жилет сшит надежно,вся фурнитура - металл!!Вот только на ранце сплоховали - пряжки ремней сделали из пластика - лопались!Поэтому и запасная шла в комплекте.

Thanks for showing them. It is really interesting to see what long term collectors have been able to pick up at the right place and time. East German issue binoculars would be a great video if you have a pair? They are priced a little higher than the Y straps I understand. I look forward to seeing your future(and past) items and hearing your thoughts on them.

hello Andrew, optics is not an area that has interest to me (unless it is specific to another item), I just can’t study everything. optics is one of the most sensitive areas in modern research and development. I also don’t have an interest in shovels but I seem to be getting a collection of them :/

I couldn’t tell you what the price is for them as I have had them for a very long time. Thank you for the compliment!

The 'adapter' pocket might be for a BFA.

hello pistonar, it could be but while I don’t have a bfa, it is quite a short pocket and I don’t think it will fit and the picture doesn’t look like one. however I will always keep an open mind that may be a possibility. I might have an East German bfa around somewhere that I could try.

@@FG42 Okay, it was just a guess. The Russians use odd terms for certain items occasionally, and I thought it might be that. :)

@@FG42 Greetings from Russia. You got the adapter 100% right. Although this pouch was usually used for lighter or matches. Soldiers are smoking quite more often than shooting)
