Initially, I actually didn't want to make a full-fledged video. Places which you ran at many times, CP's, some of which you know from a childhood, half the course was along trails, orienteering according to the principle “I gotta go something there”, a kind of course where wins cunning and physical preparation but not orienteering... these words for me personally I can describe the past Russian Azimuth-2024 on Uktus. However, this is just my humble, grumpy opinion - as an event overall, Russian Azimuth turned out great. The guys from OrienTeam put a lot of effort into this “celebration”, and I, being skeptical about this start for obvious reasons, was ultimately pleased that I didn't find any issues. It is noticeable that their team has progressed: the opening of the competition was held for an audience of 500+ people and the start was given without any hitches. I respected them much more just for the poles for the CP's. It's very nice to see the prism hanging nicely without having to lean against the wood the CP is screwed onto. And also I glad that all the points were correct (sorry guys, this will continue to be a meme for a couple of years).
By the way: 4.5 years ago I recorded a video from the ACSC Cup, where from the same place we also ran this kind of course from the mass start, when the map was older, where the first CP of that start was CP №50 of this start (and two more points, identical to this start). So for those who have a lot of free time, I suggest you watch both videos and evaluate the difference.
