The Russian Knights aerobatics team is among the most popular flying displays at the Dubai Airshow 2017. The pilots flying the team’s six Su-30SM fighters fly extremely close formation aerobatics as they carve graceful arcs, rolls, and loops over the Dubai World Central airshow site.
Each is powered by two afterburning Saturn AL-31FL turbofans capable of delivering 27,560 pounds of thrust, the Su-30SM can climb at a blistering 45,275 feet per minute and fly at up to Mach 2.
