Those who understand Russian read the marking on this bulletproof vest at the beginning - "общевойсковой", meaning "army regular" or "common to all arms". This body armour took a lot of abuse before letting a carabiner bullet through at a point blank range. Great protective piece for a lowest ranked soldier in thd Russian army. I was impressed.

Damaging ciramics using weaker bullets, that too shooting multiple times, isn't a good idea i think. One of each type is enough to test. And if areas are divided for each type of bullet, it will reduce the chance of bullet hitting an already damaged area.

Not the point. Any ceramic armor panel is rated to stop only one hit. Once its cracked the rating is void. This is just for entertainment. The 6B45 vest is made out of Aramid (a form of kevlar) with a larger cushion of it around the collar. The reason its made out of kevlar is that the Russians found out a large number of combat wounds were caused by bullet fragmentation. So the kevlar body+collar is designed to catch spalling. The foam tubes on the shoulders are for keeping your rifle sling on your shoulder. The collar piece that comes out of the sleeve is part of a quick-release system that is connected to a series of rubberized wires running through the armor that causes the vest to fall into 4 seperate pieces. Just a quick way of getting the armor off if a soldier gets hit. The other tags basically give the year of manufacture, the maker (Russian company Tekhikom), and to not get the aramid wet since it will start to deteriorate.

@@sir.richard5346 The pouch is non-adjustable and points upward at like a 45 degree angle. While that might be helpful if you're in the jungle at night and are worried about a leopord pouncing on you from the trees, a head or weapon mounted light is much more practical. Especially if you use this for it's intended purpose to keep your sling in place and maintain easier control of your rifle.

Russian translation corps is here. 0:36 OOO (This is a Russian analog for Limited Liability Company) NPF (I would translate this as "Research and Production Company") Techniom (It's a name, so there is no translation). Unified military body armor, type 6B45. Then there is a serial number (At least, I guess so) Size: 3 Factory № (I'm not sure if it means factory, this abbreviation could mean many things) 18.18254 Shipment № 19 Manufacture date: 04.18 At 0:51 It is written: "The body armor provides protection from shrapnel over all its surface; it protects from bullets, including armor-piercing ones, over armor plates surface. Use and maintain the body armor according to the manual. Armor plates should not be subjected to dry cleaning or washing". I don't understand the last line, so I can't translate it. Under it, it's written: "Always keep your body armor dry and in a proper condition".

At 0:36 after 6B45 the line "ТБМП.305219.016ТУ" is a "Decimal number", it is a unique ID number (like a first part of an automobile VIN number), which contains plant (factory) ID, item type (305219 - individual protective equipment, vests, other types), and a registration number of design documentation, according to which this unit of armor is made. After Size 3 there is indeed Factory # (like a second part of an automobile VIN, a serial number), it looks like "18" stands for year of manufacture 2018. On the right side of a label there are an OTK mark (upper) - it's a plant "QC passed" mark (quality control department); lower is a ПЗ 27Г (PZ 27G) mark - military "QC passed" mark. PZ, or Customer Representative, is a (factory independent) department of defense representative quality control check. At 0:51 the last line before the horisontal line means “Look for instructions to assemble the armor vest (BZh - Brone (Armor) Zhilet (Vest) ) after emergency doffing in the User’s Manual (РЭ RE - Rukovodstvo (Manual) on Exploitation (User’s) )”. Hand written “Г (G)” mark is again likely made by Customer Representative, means he/she have read and verified the correctness of this label. Also these shoulder pads at 4:20 might be useful to hold backpack shoulder straps or rifle belt in place and not let them slide over your shoulders to the side. I don’t know for sure though.
