Well the problem is you got up leave the clip sometimes that little bracket. The hose is made to come out of that bracket so but even still when you have a really roughy one that's like 20 years old. You probably going to need some heat and a lot of patience and don't go too crazy. Just work it back and forth. And my other thing I was thinking maybe throw a crow's foot on there and use my small impact

If it's that much trouble to get it apart the rubber hose should just be replaced before it causes the brakes to seize up, not after.
@jimmurphy5739

That's the idea. Getting that brake hose out without rupturing the steel hydraulic line coming from the master cylinder. Trying to turn out the flare nut would break the steel tube because it's rusted into the flare nuts opening.

what happens if the brake hoses collapes ,is there is a lot of pressure when you use the brakes to pass the fluid pass the collapsed line , then when the caliper releases there is not enough pressure from the Brake Caliper Piston Seal to release the pads off the brake rotors.

Why all the love for WD40 in all these types of vids?...... see this all the time when a real lubricant or a real rust remover, or some other specialized fluid is necessary.....lot's of folks call out WD-40. Hey....WD40....is a Water Displacing fluid ( Why it's called WD)...not a lube, not a rust-buster.
@ashleyjarvi9379

A lot of people generically call all penetrating oil WD-40. Like how everyone calls snot rags Kleenex. When you sneeze you say “could you hand me a Kleenex?” Not “could you hand me a procter and gamble”

@@ashleyjarvi9379....except.....WD40 is a Water-Displacing fluid......unlike Kroil, PB Blaster, and a HOST of others that are penetrating oils for this purpose. WD40 is not. And when folks say WD40...they usually mean the "WD40" product.....cheers.
