Here at last is the full version of the classic, Rusty in Orchestraville, first recorded on a set of 78 rpm records some time in the 1950s. I was required to endlessly listen to this as musical indoctrination, so I would end up thinking,, "Must. . . be. . . classical. . . musician". It didn't take, but the record did end up becoming a classic due to a miraculous invention called Sonovox, which made the musical instruments "talk". This is the creepiest sound effect known to man. The only thing I can compare it to is autotune, but this is WAY more disturbing and will keep you awake at night. If you listen to this recording, you will notice the guilt trips, shaming and judgemental attitudes that forced small human persons to practice the piano. Have things changed? I'm not sure. But thank God Sonovox has been relegated to auditory hell.
