Hi Mike, we have been to a lot of State Parks. Fall Creek Falls is still our favorite. The video does not do it justice it is incredibly beautiful. Don’t forget your golf clubs and fishing poles. There is a golf course in the middle. Maybe 3 minutes from your campsite. Safe travels! Stan and Rhonda ❤️

Hi guys! Maybe you can add it to your places to stop when you’re back there! The best part was how accessible and close everything was to the campground 👏 You guys are like us and have the dogs to worry about. We don’t like leaving them in the trailer too long so this was perfect 👍 Take care and safe travels out there!🫶Rhonda and Stan

Looks like a nice park except for the trees on the trail! We want to go to the Smokies in the next few years. This may be a good stopover. I need to look at a map!

Claudia, from the KOA we stayed at in Pigeon Forge near The Smokies to FCFSP it was 179 miles. We were towing our trailer, but we were there in 3 hours. It would definitely be a great stop for you if you can make it work. 👍👏

We had a similar experience on a West Virginia rail trail. We had to get around huge downed poplars several times.

Oh wow! Was it early Spring by chance? We LOVE the rail trails! It did appear they maintain that trail based on all the cut trees along the trail, but we think it might have been too early in the season and they hadn’t gotten to it yet. Nonetheless, we enjoyed exploring and maybe helping clear the trail in some small way. Thanks for hanging out with us and sharing your experience! Blessings, Rhonda and Stan

@@OverTheHillAdventures It was in August and I think it was the Greenbrier Trail. It was a morning after a couple days of storms. We enjoy your content a lot. I am a travel nurse. Our adventuring is exploring the areas in which I work. We’re in New Hampshire now!

I was waiting for stan to get hurt messing with those trees. I live in Pa. and have done what he did a time or two with down trees. Trees can sometimes bite ya when your trying to clear a path in the woods lol

Hi Bill, we used to live in the mountains for 31 years. I used to love going back and getting my chainsaw and clearing the path. So I decided to invest in a fold up saw. Put in my back pack and at least I could of made it a little safer. I think Rhonda was waiting for me to get hit between the legs and have it on video. Luckily we were all good. Thanks for watching Bill appreciate you.

My tax dollars NOT at work! Fallen trees across the bike trail is ridiculous! It’s a Tennessee State Park! They should have maintenance crews there to clean that mess up!
