when you get some extra cash, you may want to get you a drop hitch for your receiver for that smaller camper so it hauls at a lower angle.

I’m giving the popup away to a channel member once it’s all fixed but you’re definitely right for the future! Never know when opportunity will knock 💯 probably gonna look for one with about 6 inches of rise and drop

You probably already know this but i stayed the winter in a camper once and putting hay bales in contractor bags and lining the perimeter of the camper with that made it way easier to heat. Didn't look super awesome until it was sno covered but it worked great. Appreciate ya

Hey man thanks for this, i know of hay bales but they attract rodents so not allowed on property, unfortunately i don’t think the contractor bags would keep them out but would love your opinion on that! Appreciate u man 🤙🏾

@@rvaway i think you're correct, rodents would make it through contractor bags with no trouble. However you can keep the wind out of the bottom of your camper is going to benefit you. Maybe some plywood would do the trick or foam insulation works well too. You could probably make something creatively functional by cutting pallets to the height of your floor then wrapping them with tarps or plastic sheeting or whatever you got available and screwing them together around the perimeter. Just ideas but ultimately the wind blowing under the camper sucks the heat away and makes the inside much more drafty.

@michaelosmon Dude you’re an awesome out of the box thinker! I love the pallet idea and sliding insulation in between. Whichever camper I decide to live in will get skirting (more than likely Red Dale bc smallest) But yea I am aware of winterizing procedures and what not as this is my 3rd year in RV’s but have never winterized as I’m usually living in the camper. Never had to skirt either as I’m usually moving through the winter or in the south so all the advice and ideas are greatly appreciated!
