New to your channel and just wanted to say I appreciate you posting the ammo testing videos. Having just purchased a B14R Carbon you’ve given me a great starting point and saved me a lot of expense testing rounds that won’t work with the rifle. Fully understand all barrels are different but results so far with rounds that were accurate in your Bergara are working well in mine. Cheers, Ian.

Unless you can call it when the shot broke - its not a flyer to exclude in my book. I have never noticed that 22s generally generate flyers..

22’s are prone to flyers when going for tiny groups however unless you know you pulled it you gotta count it unless of course it sounds Different the sound of the shot can tell you alot

I agree with you with one flyer. I have same set up the Bergara b24r. With a Element Nexus 5-20-50 amazing scope. And a tack drivin rifle. Your videos mate are awesome 😎. From the USA. Keep um up we all learn more each day. My goal is to get factory federal ammunition to shoot matches with. Don’t laugh finding cheaper ammo for competition is hard. But I’m close with my research. I’m getting close with. Federal Champion I’m sorting the ammo. I’ll let you know 🤔. Thx mate. USA we love the videos. Ohh 😯 Ck out element nexus it’s 1500 bucks US. AND BLOWS AWAY NIGHTFORCE 2200 dollar scopes. Stay safe. B.

Josh, will you do me a favor? Load and eject a mag full and inspect the rounds. I was getting results like yours, the rifle was damaging the rounds, sometimes significantly. Got the problem sorted and the flyers disappeared. Alternatively single load them into the chamber and report back on groups.

Well my rifle puts 25 rounds in one single ragged hole at 200 yards......OK, pure BS for sure but I just wanted to be like all the other comments on here. Nice shooting and thank you for the video. One question though, did you run extra rounds through your rifle between switching out from one ammo to the other? I have found that it takes at least 30 - 50 rounds to acclimate the barrel to the new ammo before it gives you its real potential.

Are loading from the magazine or single shot loading. As a single shot bolt action rifle allows for careful insertion of the round into the chamber and a mag fed is basically uncontrolled it would seem the best method for determining the barrel/ammo accuracy potential would be to test by hand feeding each round. I’ve not seen anyone do a comparison between a seasoned barrel with 10 shot group fired from the magazine and another fired by hand feeding. My assumption would be there is a noticeable difference and possible elimination of the flyers.

Not being too critical, but either you can't shoot or your rifle has a bad barrel. My B14R groups much better. Shot a .590" and .610" at 100 yards with Center - X

Joe D- doing it once or twice doesn't make it "sub moa all day" Shoot 10x 5 shot groups and find the average group size then you can claim that average "all day". Jump on the snipers hide forum and check out the 6x5 rimfire challenge thread. There are many many highly experienced and accomplished shooters who can't do .5 @100m "all day" Wallet groups are laughable, consistency is king.

@@danielmastrangelo3778 no need to waste that much ammo. I have been shooting competition longer than you have been breathing. Guess I did not learn much at the Army Sniper School. I did not shoot at 100 meters. That is 109 yds. Have no idea what a "wallet" group is.

@@joed3264 wallet group is the 1 amazing group people shoot and brag about it claiming that their rifle is capable of Said group size "all day" I don't care how long you've been shooting competition, rimfire ammo is the most inconsistent part of the rifire accuracy equation. That is a FACT. Like I said, go to the snipers hide website and have a look in the rimfire section. The 6x5 shows that it's near impossible to maintain consistency.
