So I purchased the new Ventum Pro 30 in May and now have 500+ shots through it. I recently noticed it has started to make a “creaking” sound. It seems to be coming from the cams- possibly the draw module making contact/shifting during the 1st inch of the draw cycle. Have you experienced and customers with this issue? Were you able to correct it? I called Hoyt last week and they said to take it in to a dealer and have them look at it. I usually prefer to do my own work since i live an hour from a dealer- nice shooting bow but disappointed in this. Unacceptable that a $1200 bow starts to make this type of noise after 500 shots. Thoughts? Any advice would be appreciated based on your experience with these and this issue.

Take the modules off and wax the back side of them with a little string wax. That’s usually all it takes

@@AA-mk4pu Absolutely. But to just rule a bow out because its made in China is silly. Only a couple companies actually manufacture their bows completely in the U.S.On top of that, the raw materials aren't sourced from the U.S. , so one way or another, a foreign country has a hand in the production.

@@AA-mk4pu lol that doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna be a better archer because of it. I've seen some clothes made in Italy that isn't as good quality as made in China or other countries.
