TJ lays it all out there Every. Single. Game. Now he’s baffled because he can’t understand why players don’t want to practice. A primary factor behind the Niners consistently producing significant plays is the collective effort in blocking, involving even the wide receivers and running backs.
Love this , not the the rehearsed 2 min segments every Monday on the Steelers saying the same ol “never had a losing season” “who you gonna replace him with” “if the Steelers fired Tomlin today he’d be picked up in a instance” they have been saying the last 6 years. I remember 2 years ago when Sharpe called out Tomlin for behavioral issues at receiver saying “you are either condoning it or coaching it” The team needs a QB they need a new line their front office doesn’t make allot of moves during the off-season so the only way for a real rebuild is for draft picks. If the Steelers go 9-8 they will pick middle of the draft and not get a need and be stuck with their QBs. I think Tomlin or the Rooneys need to make a decision and let Tomlin go somewhere like the chargers and start over by hiring EB or Ben Johnson just my thoughts

Tomlin needs to go because he is not a good head coach..he isnt even a decent one. There is plenty of evidence to support this. You are right about the culture..that is what allowed a bad head coach to have success early on until he was able to get his fingerprints all over this team, and now here we are. Sure he could get hired right away...so could most of the head coaches who have been around for a while. The Steelers needed a head coach who could actually coach all along and not a cheerleader/mentor. Ill take a coach with a winning record in the playoffs any day..or a coach who hasnt given up 40+ points in the playoffs multiple times (he's a defense specialist?)..a coach that could beat a Tim Tebow team in the playoffs. I hope coach Tomlin realizes he is not a good head coach and retires at year end and we can listen to his bravado/swagger/mindless word salads as he is in a broadcast booth somewhere..bah. I've never been a Tomlin fanboy. He was gifted a couple decade long franchise of success, system, culture, etc from those that demanded it. It has been dissolving slowly since Day 1. Day 1. idgaf what Super Bowls the Squealers went to since his arrival... it was decaying success built on the shoulders of better men before him. You see now what his mentality yields. Chad Johnson to NE? Randy Moss to NE? How many great out-of-control-players went to NE and LEARNED how they better be? Tomlin won't be fired, but if he were, any team that sucks him off in hopes to pick him up - just watch what happens after to whoever does.

Not gonna give Pickens a pass, but he should have the opportunity to redeem himself. So not gonna hate on the guy, he knows. Let’s see how he moves forward.

He's not coaching Bill Cowher's team anymore. And I'll say it again, this team isn't cohesive. Almost the entire offense is competing with EACH OTHER and not the opposing teams they play. Pickens v Johnson. Harris v Warren. For a minute it was like Pickett v Tribisky. They're is too much competition amongst each other. That doesn't make for a great team.

Tomlin has been terrible for 17yrs ,he inherited Cowher s disiplined team for his super bowl and rode the great talent he was given for yrs.Tomlin isn't capable of disciplining his players and can only get winning seasons with super bowl talent teams

I remember everyone saying these same things about Cower in 2000 saying he was too friendly with players etc. Glad the organization didn’t listen to fans then, hope they don’t listen to fans now and instead do what they feel is right. If it’s keeping him or moving on I’ll support whatever decision they make.

Man, if Steelers fans are getting angry about this, I can only imagine how they'd be if they had to put up what us Giants fans have to go through. Steelers haven't had a losing season since 2003; I'd be happy if the Giants can string back to back winning seasons at this point.

No you don’t because that means you got a average pick every year. And you don’t want any of the Steelers coaching staff fr. This team is seriously due for a rebuild from owner down only real Pittsburgh Steelers fans know.

It is amazing, back in week 5, week 6, etc, National media would not question anything that Mike Tomlin did, they heaped praise on him and buried Matt Canada. In fairness, MC had to go, but it was clearly not the whole issue. Local media and the fanbase has seen lotos of issues over the years.. Now, it seems like the tide has completely turned and these guys are coming out of the word work to be on the record of questioning Tomlin.

As a man, I have nothing but admiration and respect for Coach T and I hate how everyone is piling on him, but Shannon is right. The WR room has been a cancer for years and it has spread out to the entire locker room. Coach T's message is stale. He has one year left on his contract. The only way he leaves the Steelers is if he WANTS too. Art Rooney will never fire him. After all these years, Coach T deserves a chance to turn it around. But may be RC is right, it's time for him to move on😢🖤💛🖤💛💛

The standards and discipline has been toxic for years. Players coach or not it’s the principle and the receiving core behavior add Ju Ju in there to have run wild and rampant. Supbar years but it starts with culture yes talent at position matters but there needs to be changes.

Tomlin is doing a better job than the majority of coaches in this league. Mike T also has a young QB that is developing and now injured. Ryan Clark is a joke and a guy trying to get more air time so he says stuff to get attention. After last nights game I am curious as to what he has to say about Mike T. By the way, along with Shannon there on air skills are lacking at best and no sense of being a professional by not making things personal.

Sharpe tells it how it is and it's mostly Tomlin's fault because he's been condoning it. They been stuck in neutral with Tomlin for 13 years man.
