Playland Park in Rye, New York was one of the first amusement parks in the United States to be declared a National Historic Landmark. This government owned park has classic Art Deco architecture, a relaxing atmosphere, and several classic attractions such as the Dragon Coaster, Ye Old Mill, and Derby Racer. Standard Amusements took over the operation of this park a few years ago, but has the park kept up with the times?
