If ryobi had some kind of compact battery for this tool then it would beat every electric wrench. But it is cool that they still let you use the one+ line and that’s why ryobi is so cool.

Finally! I am so glad they came out with that! I almost bought one from Harbor Freight about a week ago, but I decided to wait instead, and good thing I did. It's nice for me because I'm a mechanic and I have almost all Ryobi One+ 18v tools so this would fit right in.

I've been waiting and wanting Ryobi to make this tool but now that they have i agree with others the battery makes this tool very large when it's supposed to fit in tight spaces. I still bought it anyway though because I'm a Ryobi user.

It's really cool you guys give away those batteries to guys just getting started. That means a lot to a guy just getting started! 🇺🇸🦅

I picked one up and like it. I work on Transit Buses for a living. The battery is a little cumbersome but if you put the 1.5 compact on it it works great. Ill give a longevity review on it after I beat the crap out of it,lol.

There's a reason Milwaukee doesn't have that rotating head... their battery isn't the size of your head

I almost got another brand ratchet and would be stuck with another set of batteries/chargers. So glad TTI finally made one under the Ryobi brand. It doesn't have the best ergonomics, but that's the whole point of the rotating head.

I have the ryobi extended reach ratchet with something like 55lbs and its too powerful! Strips bolts if youre not careful. I got the new ryobi multi size non extended reach ratchet to complement it partly because it has LESS power (35 lbs) and partly for the swappable anvils. Apart from the battery on the bottom, which is as much a selling point as a con (1 battery to rule them all) and you get used to quickly, the ryobi ratchets are quite possibly the best overall (and certainly for the price) on the market! For example, the ability to flip the head around is HUGE for getting into tight areas, as important, if not more, to me as milwaukee's smaller battery.

Looing for the M12 Fuel 3/8 Ratchet today at home de pot all I could find was for the tool only at 149.00 ,. Really had my heart set on that one but not willing to invest another 150.00 in battery and charger. I opted for the Ryobi kit with Batt and charger for 89.00.

In what scenario when working with 1/4" drive sockets (so about 4mm to 10mm bolts) would you want the tool to be a foot and a half long and weigh four pounds? "Hey, I need to tack in these brads. Hand me the 5 lb. sledge hammer."

The one and only reason Ryobi has the large battery on their ratchets is there not going to change the battery design that one battery fits all their tools for just one tool.

I find it funny how you guys made this video to review a tool that you don't even know the battery size of! You both state that the milwaukee uses 12v which is correct but the ryobi is 18v not 20. Is "tools in action" the name of the channel or the guys in the video? 😁
