Great review dude, thanks. (btw- we discovered during hurricane blackouts, the router if powered back on, the wifi works, because cable doesn't lose its signal broadcast, this inverter would power the router and we can get WiFi access, vs having to run a generator out in the massive rains ) may have to get a few of these!

Hey TOOL BOSS, Great review, very informative, you mentioned that it seemed unstable and wanted to fall over. I believe that it was designed that way to counter the weight of the 40V battery, if it didn't lean back then when you inserted the battery it would topple over the other way. Like you said, you could always use it laying down too. Thanks, enjoyed the video.

Great review. Newish LED tvs are very efficient. I got almost 3 hrs on my outdoor patio running a Samsung 55" LED TV on eco mode (low brightness) for movie night. This thing is awesome and highly recommend. Also, I dont believe you mentioned it but I could've missed it. The major difference between this and other "power sources" is that the Ryobi 300W outputs a Pure Sine Wave versus a Modified Sine Wave with the others. Pure Sine Wave is the way to go, especially with sensitive electronics.

Great yes ..very true mine is older but have to remember alot of people who are going to use this inverter for TV's aren't going to most likely use a new one ..but 3 hours not bad ..and also most likely they guna be in that 32" range 👌👍

Yea, for sure but with the cost of led TVs being so cheap, I bought a no name Walmart special $80 32" led for the garage back in April. Will test it with that and report back numbers but I dont think it will run too much less than the 45W my 55" uses (not sure how accurate as I use a cheap HF Watt meter). Thanks again for the response and cant wait until they release the 1500W model so we can see you review it!

Neat addition to Ryobi’s line of tools. However, I’d like to see a better charger from Ryobi more than anything. For me, I’m the type of person who would spend the extra money for that speedy charge time. That being said, ego is still the best OPE line in my book.

there are videos on youtube showing the "150w" inverter at 200W so we'll have to find out what the 300W will really do i suppose they rate it lower for saftey or maybe after a while it loses performance. you can charge an 18v battery with the 18v in verter but you have a loss because the heat the inverter emits.

Kim Nimbus I have two of the gas powered 2300's - if u can get one for $400 I say buy it, it is quiet, especially in eco mode, if from home Depot, I would add the extended warranty, use the gas extender from the beginning, run once a month for 10 mins and you are good to go. (I just realized I lent one out and can't remember to who! ). We live in a hurricane area and these are agreat comfort to have at the ready, I would recommend getting some cardboard (use the box) and create a sound deflector, basically cut the box top flaps off and one corner then extend around the generator but not covering the exhaust side, in order to deflect the sound away from who ever it can bother, sound travels in a straight line, so you will see a drastic reduction with a "barrier" but it is quiet anyway, take a step or 3 back and you will be amazed. (And if you don't buy it tell me where it is!)
