I had purchased the Ryobi 40v mower which came with two batteries. So it was easy to convince myself to buy this. It's on standby for my house.

I’m curious, I know the 18 volt battery tools will run on 12 volt solar panels (VMP 19-20 bolts usually) but would this run on 24 volt panels? Maybe with some super caps. Not sure if the bms has communication ports for the tool that would block it.

Great question.

This unit wants to see 42 volts coming in. You can use an adjustable MPPT set for 42V and power the MPPT from a solar panel or 2

You might be able to charge a Ryobi 40V battery directly from a pair of 12V solar panels in series, using the DC charging cradle. That should give you 38-40V and maybe 180W.

Can it run three 2W Light bulbs and two Blink Cameras?

Yes you could run all that on the DC side and use very little standby power
