I wouldn't have thought that these magnificent engines needed a banker especially on such a short train! And the telephoto shots were rather alarming with the engine pitching like a ship in a storm on track it looks as if I had laid. Reminds me of Ivo Peters shots of the 7Fs working uphill on the S&D where of course they were well known for pitching from side to side under load. But a great chronicle here of the engines arrival and subsequent steaming. What has happened to the old Scammells, I wonder. And no.88 in that marvellous Prussian Blue livery is a sight to behold. Wonderful footage.

Thanks Ade. Cameraman Ken Barter was pretty good too. Did the 3 voiceovers for the 3 x 400 ft reels first take and no mistakes. Incredible man. Best Wishes, Philip

Very nice Christmas video! Taken back to a time when the buffet was under construction. The final shot of the wheels is fantastic. Merry Christmas

Very much enjoyed this production; thank you. In the credits you might want to correct '13809 Owners Group'.

@@philipfowler5280 Hi Philip. In the credits, special thanks are given to 'Ernie Bradley, Ken Chadwick and John Moorhouse (13809 Owners Group)'. Unless I'm missing something I would assume that's meant to read '53809 Owners Group'.

@@nigelpaul6235- I can't recall why the LMS number was there rather than the BR number. Did the Group use both? Or swap over later? I must have thought it was appropriate at the time. Regards, Philip

@@philipfowler5280 Hi Philip, to be honest I thought this was simply a matter of a misplaced digit in the credits, as opposed to differing LMS and BR numbers. I hadn't realized that they would have been different. My apologies.
