I am a Chinese as well. I have stopped feeding my kids carbs in the morning. I cook pasture raised eggs (sunny side up, scrambled or omelettes), bacons (from forest raised pork), sausages, patties (from pasture raised beef or forest raised pork), sometimes fish every morning. I encourage my kids to fast during lunch time since school lunches are basically ultra processed trash foods. Then they would eat nutrient dense home cooked meals at dinner time. Mental health and metabolic health are one. You need to wake up. People should eat nutrient dense animal based diet that would not spike blood glucose and insulin for ultimate health.
