"Most horrifying of all was what happened to Einstein and Xia, whose captains bypassed system protections via remote control mode and entered Ahead Four acceleration. None of their personnel was protected by deep-sea state. Images transmitted from Xia showed a hangar emptied of fighters but occupied by over a hundred people who were flattened against the deck by the high gs once acceleration began. From this vantage point, observers saw crimson flowers of blood bloom on the white space the size of a football field, forming extremely thin layers that spread out and ultimately merged into one under the immense force.… Spherical cabins presented the ultimate horror: At the beginning of hypergravitation everyone inside slid to the bottom, and then the devil’s weighty hand squished them all into a lump, as if balling up a pile of clay men, with no time for anyone to even scream. The only sound was of shattering bones and viscera squeezing out. Then the pile of flesh and bones was submerged in a bloody liquid that turned eerily clear once the solids were precipitated out by the high gs, its surface flat and motionless as a mirror under the intense force. It seemed solid, and the formless pile of flesh, bone, and organs lay within it like rubies sealed in crystal....."

@LadyBeyondTheWall

@@danielrodrigues4903 As someone who read the books right before GoT started, I'm not worried at all - with ACTUAL author consultation of a complete series, which is what George RR Martin told D&D he was going to do before not bothering to finish even his second to last book Winds of Winter, when he told them he'd be done AT LEAST that one before S5 and instead giving them bullet points where they all spent an entire week together going over how the characters were going to end, and he never bothered to finish anything and just started doing prequels instead. D&D went into it thinking they'd be doing an actual book adaptation that George PROMISED would be finished before they got there. It's not their fault all they had to go on were his notes for the rest of the series - and George said in his 60 minutes interview right before S8 aired, when he knew how S5-7 went (which most people loved as it was airing) that the ends of the characters were going to be the same in the books and the show. People wanted their fairytale "prophesy" ending and were blindly not noticing how insane Dany was from at least S2, which plenty of us book readers/show watchers could see from a mile away, and got all mad about it when it didn't happen and acted like "it came from nowhere" when it absolutely didn't. People literally said over and over that's why they didn't like it. They can backtrack all they want, but Daenerys fans got mad and threw the world's biggest hissyfit. So they started getting mad at everything and complaining about things that had happened the entire show that they didn't complain about before, like fast-traveling. So many people complained about that in S8, when the entire FIRST SEASON that people claimed was perfect, was fast traveling. D&D wanted to ADAPT the series with an author they thought was diligently working on finishing the series while they were doing the show. Instead they had to take the heat because people didn't like where GEORGE said the characters were going to go and how their stories were going to end.. which is probably why George is never going to finish it. Because even HE can't figure out how to get his characters from where they are in Dance of Dragons to where the characters are going to end like they did in Season 8. I applaud them for finishing it in a coherent way when even George can't do it. And nearly everyone LOVED season 6, which was ALL THEM..because all they had were the notes George gave them. No one complains about the books D&D actually did get to adapt from George's actual finished writing, nor do they complain about S6 which George didn't even write - so I don't see why people would "worry" about them doing a show based on something that is ACTUALLY finished with the actual author, who can finish a story, consulting them. Personally, I'm SUPER excited.

Also, you REALLY need to flex your brain on what advanced technology can look like in a realistic context. For example, the most advanced bows were rendered useless when the musket arrived. So what weapon could exist that renders the most advanced guns useless? And when I say guns, I mean handheld projectiles. So handheld plasma weapons, pulse guns, railguns, etc. all count as guns.

Yeah was about to say, to the people on board the ship it was far too fast to see. They wouldn't have been pulled out of the ships through the vacuums, it targeted the nuclear reactors onboard the ship and to those onboard, it would have been experienced as the ship cores instantly nuclear detonating. It was moving so fast that the impact with the fuel of the fusion reactors was enough to cause the fuel to fuse, to give you an idea of just how fast it was moving. Row after row of ships core nuclear detonating as nobody could tell what was happening. Only the ship computers could even theorize as to what was happening, let alone see it. It was far scarier in that way in the books. It just looked like something was detonating bombs from within the ships, but it was just the droplet moving at impossible accelerations, with impossible momentum defying trajectories, with utterly nothing that could be done to harm or escape it.

@@putty-e2872 Yeah "Did he do the trick yet ?" Honestly I would prefer that kind of enemy. You'd be wiped out within a fraction of a second, no pain, no years of fighting with desperation, starvation and insomnia. War makes people crazy, death is only the end of life and we will all die anyway since no one is immortal. Considering that our universe is estimated to end one way or another, our survival will be pointless anyway. Can you imagine the existential dread of a human race that conquered the milky andromeda way (the andromeda galaxy and our milky way will collide and merge in the far futur), but will never be able to reach other galaxies because the space just doesn't stops growing and the pace of space growth keeps accelerating ? FYI, that's what's happening already. The space between galaxies is literally expanding, this is some crazy stuff. And not only is it expanding, but it is getting faster at that. So imagine we would be stuck in the milky andromeda way, unable to reach other galaxies. The amount of matter in our galaxie would be isolated from the rest of the universe. BUT, matter can be converted into energy, as in nuclear bombs. That's what the stars in our solar system do, they convert matter into electromagnetic energy, that spreads in the form of a wave (light, xrays, heat, etc.). The stars in our milky andromeda way lose their matter by doing this. The electromagnetic energy will escape into space, unless we can build a dyson sphere around every star. No matter how you turn it, once we will be trapped within the milky andromeda way, we will have to face the fact that there will come a time when humanity will have to reduce it's numbers, because the available energy and matter we could turn into energy will run out. This would be an existencial nightmare, except it would be reality. Doomed to dwindle, then to die, then to be forgotten. So, if faster-than-light travel will turn out to be impossible, we're doomed.

Earth fleet vs 1 Trisolarian (San ti) Droplet from book 2 (Dark Forest) this shows how advanced and strong they are compared to us, but the funny thing is, both of us is just ants in a huge battleground

That's why they kept 800 km distance from the droplet still their fall was inevitable. Cuz the droplet traveling speed would be 30km per sec.

Because this is just a lower quality crop of other youtube videos. The full episode is available on higher quality, along with the entire animated series, in another youtube channel

Im sorry but the fleet formation and engaging the entire fleet was just moronic. Either way it would be destroyed, but could happen in a more realistic way.

If you read the book you should know why the the fleet formation are this moronic.

@@slatealan7082 i literally just finished the book and the explanation is lackluster. There is no excuse for humanity being this stupid/naive. Even if they are overconfident in their own technology. Not a single bit of evidence has been presented to back up that trisolaris is friendly.

It was due to that all the fleets wanted to be a part of the engagement so that all had a fair chance at “victory”. It was a formation that pleased all the fleets. They were overconfident, as it was supposed to be just a “probe”. But the formation was not based on strategy at all, but just a political agreement between nations for equal access to front lines. Very stupid but considering how geopolitics play, not very surprising.

Really nothing you can do against an indestructible bullet that goes at absurd speed, lose no velocity even when doing sharp turn, and has 100% accuracy. Even if they dispersed the whole fleet accross the entire space system, they wouldn't be able to hide from it.

The Trisolarians did warn them "you are like bugs". A group of tribesmen can continue to develop spears and arrows, using the deadliest poison passed down by ancient wisdom but they can never win soldiers with rifles. There is always a higher peak than the highest mountain. This array may look stupid but I think even the most sophisticated one has no chance against Trisolarians. If humans are allowed develop it, it meant its completely harmless to Trisolarians. In Trisolarians' own words, they are not overly concerned with transitory triumph. I've read up till this droplet scene in the book and plagued by the same question since I started Dark Forest. "Why do humans keep assuming the Trisolarians aren't improving while they are?" This stupidity is even more baffling.
Do you know red vs blue where people use halo to create a story? This series started with people using minecraft to recreate scene from book 1 in season 1. And use actual animation but minecraft style for season 2. They still use minecraft is probably because of consistentcy.

Originally, The Three-Body Problem Season 1 was animated by some fans using the game Minecraft. It was very interesting and popular in China at the time, and then they invited some people to use 3D production software to make subsequent episodes. But the painting style still continues the style of Minecraft.
