I remember this theme well. It had a couple good actresses leading the closing credits in Ronne Troup & Joanna Barnes.

I watched this show back then on my own TV, which was rare back then for a seven year old.

I was about 10 at this time, and there was no way my mom was EVER going to let me have my own tv set. As an adult I have one now, but I still don't watch much tv in bed.

Does anyone know what TV show had the closing credits where it had a red background and a silhouette of a guy with a flashlight, and he's looking around with the flashlight as he's walking toward the camera until the camera zooms in close on him? It was a 70s TV show, I believe. Does it ring a bell for anyone? It was recently parodied on The Simpsons, the one where Martin was thought to be killed, and Nelson Muntz acted as detective.

Spelling-Goldberg didn't have any. Those in post-network syndication back in the day would have been Worldvision (which Spelling acquired while with Blockbuster), most recently CBS would be added.

Maybe Ironside? Shaft? Mod Squad? Mannix? Petrocelli?
