Another killer edition! I did this a year or 2 ago before Intune/Azure started associating primary users to devices so that I could know who was using the remote computer.

Much appreciated! I asked the question on Twitter so for you to spend the time to make this as a video is awesome.

Amazing video again! I always struggled with understanding the flow part. This makes it a great first step in understanding the how.

@@IntuneTraining Thanks for sharing Ben, you make the scary Intune stuff looks a bit less scary and showing examples that are easy to follow to understand the power of the tools.

Thanks for the awesome demo! I am playing around with this for creating different reports for clients with PowerBI. Im thinking license reports, MFA status reports ect.

Sure wish these guys had created a Template for this. I'm a System Administrator for an association that has gone 365 (who hasn't) with a mix of AWS, VMWare, Nutanex, Dell shop essentially on the workstation end. around 130 employees. Working on a few projects like migrating from McAfee disk encryption to Bitlocker. And for that I have taken point and it's going well and concept and configuration has been proven. Hard part is decrypting the drives while everyone is working remote! Anyway, another thing IT Management is looking at is EndPoint Management and everything that entails. I have been championing the EndPoint Management console in Azure (Between it and InTune can do most everything we need except Remote Control and Software/application inventory). My manager has spun-up an ECM server but I think that's too much to wrap our arms around for so few employees. Every big corp I have ever worked for using SCCM or Dell KACE this became almost a primary job for whoever was responsible for it! I'm not joking. I don't want to go there to many other responsibilities. We already have MDT for deployments and that requires constant updates. TeamViewer for Remote Control support, we have WSUS, InTune for app deployments, just need something like this for PC software inventory. Has this been documented anywhere other than the two video's? BTW - sometimes "Quick and Dirty" get's the job done with minimal fuss. "Field Expediency" is what we called it in my Army days! lol ;p

This sort of content is awesome. Taking this further, is there anyway to generate populate or updated AAD group membership based upon the data returned (similar to how you could create an SCCM collection based upon custom Inventory)

This is fantastic, but I could use some help with determining what sort of JSON schema to use. I'm trying to run a script that will dump information gathered from a get-computerinfo command into a table, but I think the only piece I'm missing is the JSON schema.

Good content, is there anyway of stating when the device in question was last inventoried in the storage table?

Hello I have an Idea for an Episode: "How to use the Log Analytics workspace with Intune" This is quite an interesting topic, because with this data you can either create device reports with PowerBi or for example use it to automate scope tags for devices in Intune. Many thanks for the episodes, they are great if you want to learn Intune for your own.

yeah, you are right with an Automation Account & Log Analytics you could extract a Lot of telemetry including Files, Registry, Apps... from VMs, Windows & Linux it would require to create the storage, download the client, copy/paste the keys, then push the client or manually install if -no Intune, Then utilizing 'Kusto' Language (similar to SQL or WQL(sccm)) would need to run something like this: ConfigurationData | where ConfigDataType == "Software" | where Publisher == "Microsoft Corporation" | summarize arg_max(TimeGenerated, *) by SoftwareName, Computer

@@PCookman anything is possible, this solution just takes input and stores it. you just need to write the data capture script to capture exactly what you want.
