The gravel road from Kliprand to the N7 was another stunning road. This time we were prepared, so we decided to stop and enjoy the lunch we brought along on the side of the road. It was fantastic, the food just tasted better! The N7 goes past Bitterfontein, but we took a drive through the village. The railroad is a big part of the town’s livelihood. The copper ore mined in Okiep, a town in the Northern Cape, is transported by road to Bitterfontein, transferred to the railway and taken to Cape Town. It was soon time to be on our way to Nuwerus where we spent the night at Bakinumpelis. This venue was awesome and the people were so friendly. We woke the following morning and had a lovely breakfast which they prepared for us before we hit the road again. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #bitterfontein #nuwerus
