Incredible job, primate care staff. And congratulations on the success of brilliant parenting; Hsiao-Ning giving birth and accepting her off spring. What a success story.

That baby woolies' face, though... adorable. Such a shame about the mums rejecting them at birth. I wonder if the same percentage of rejections happen in the wild, leading to their vulnerable CITES status?

This is my favorite watch on UTube ! God Bless these employees, monkeys n Monkey world ❤ Monkeys are NOT pets 😢 I so so wanted a Long tail Macaque that was offered to me here in the US as a present 🎁 .I was 16 yrs old. I didn't tk him 😢. Knowing they live #20 yrs n I was too young with plans for school .Where would he go ? Could I take care of him ? We didn't hv education back then of the realities how it's wrong . So thank fully I can watch them now .❤

I’m curious, since the troop have so much positive interest in the baby, why not try every day or every few days to see if mom or the possible surrogate mommy monkey to see if mom is ready. I think it wouldn’t hurt anything and if the motherly instinct does kick in, better for baby too.

I'm very strongly against having wild animals as pets, but I couldn't even imagine how hard it would be to give up a primate. They are the closest thing to a human child.
