What would my day be without the primates? Now I’m off to the zoo to visit my adoptees. We have an adoption program at my local zoo. Every year my folks donate loads of grapes from their vines. We have so many. We also give to our food shelters.

I thank God for you, Alison and your staff! Those animals are probably the happiest they have ever been and will be until they pass. You are all a blessing to those animals and I can't wait for the next chapter!

@Angela James Up until today (17) the weather has been fabulous. Today it's in to 40's and snow flurries. I love it here as we have the most beautiful sunsets. Blessings.

@@lillypad9960 We have beautiful sunsets also as we live by Lake Texoma. I saw on Ryan Hall Y'all just after I posted to you that there is cold and nasty weather coming your way soon. The cold weather has/had gotten really hard on my body, bones and muscles, so the shorter and less cold winters here are more favorable for me though I do still suffer. Although I know there are others that have it so much worse than I do. Every day that I wake up is a blessing I am very thankful for. Stay safe and hopefully soon you will have not only beautiful sunsets but warmer weather so you may enjoy them outside as well. God bless.

I love your sanctuary but i must be brutally honest. The vet has very little effiectiveness overly ambitious invasive and over does the procedures all to the detriment of the animals. One might think with the money funded granted and tax exemptions on donations esp those donations of great generosity good for the Monkey world and great for the organizations corporations and those wealthy business owners looking for a tax break, that this foundation in all its travels could not procure or offer individuals with in depth knowledge-based vet skills along the way...for each species can be delicate and a challenge to keep in good health and some the slightest change in environment enclosure exposure nutrition troupe behavior socialvstanding sexuality and psysiological psychosocial changes could very easily cost these animals their lives. Why not have a host of familiar staff that you have met along your rescues why not leave this door open to foreign exchange animal behaviorists and vets specializing in each species fields or even future animal rescue and educators of their communities regarding animal conservationists animal rights activists as well as offering opening positions to pay to come and volunteer to work on cleaning enclosures building preparing enrichment activities actively following protocol understanding nutritional needs medical intervention and all while observing and being challenged to become more aware of how vital it is to educate our generations and future leaders that animals are not on this earth to exploit they are not here for us to eat or pluck from their families tearing down destroying habitat and to teach all the devastating effects and consequences of global greed global disrespect and apathy towards protecting every living animal plant and fish bird bacterial fungus monkey gorilla chimpanzee the air the sky and now even space where countries have now begun to discard outdated satellites and rockets equipment and parts of shuttles instead of ensuring that we are now setting out to destroy outter space our ozone our atmlsphere...it is mind boggling the level of ego ....I hear people say this all the time...when refering to or making an observation about a group of criminals or a warring country or citizens who are rioting or protesting men who are fighting each other or women fighting with other women school aged tweens video posting ruthless assaults on innocent classmates over their hatred and jealousy singling out a weaker singular child bullying and mob mentality until they committ suicide..ive heard people say about looters groups and swarms of thieving and half wits looking for an excuse to rob anyone that they act like animals...OH THEY ARE BEHAVING LIKE NOTHING MORE THAN ANIMALS WHY THOSE DISGUSTING HORRID CRIMINAL SCUM..ANIMALS! How dare anyone refer to animals as lawless disgusting chaotic out of control criminals intentionally assaulting taking over and destroying another species community intentionally picking other species off and within their own community no rules no laws and even deficating on their own troupes food family and stealing their own troupes supplies of food and then attacking them killing them, no animals have their own system they have order an they run their troupes much better and more fairly than our governments do or our leaders do so when you hear someone say oh those people are acting like animals...please speak up and interject ...IF ONLY EVERYONE WOULD ACT LIKE ANIMALS WE COULD THEN KNOW JUSTICE HARMONY NO ONE WOULD STARVE TO DEATH ON THE SCALES LIKE TODAY AND MAYBE THEN AS ANIMALS DO...WE WOULD HAVE MORE CONTROL OVER THE MUTANY AND BETRAYAL AND REBELLIOUS DESTROYERS OF PEACE ORDER AND FAIR LAW ABIDING LIFE OF HAPPINESS..,I WISH WE WOULD ACT LIKE ANIMALS!

And btw, Allison and Jeremy are doing a superb job at running Monkey World. And along with the staff that take excellent care of all the primates, I think they may know exactly what to do, how to handle each situation,, feed and enrich those lives they care for far better than I would say you could. I say you may know a little about apes and monkeys, but you can't hold a candle to any of the Monkey World family! Viewers are quite smart, too! Until you leave a respectable comment, you will no doubt see more replies telling you to just grow up and suck it up, buttercup, if you can't handle the truth! How dare you, troll, next time just scroll!
