A by product of lowering a vehicle with independent rear suspension like a Nissan S15 is the introduction of negative camber. Since fitting coilovers my rear wheels have had a decent amount of unwanted negative camber.
I decided to purchase rear camber arms to dial out the negative camber and get the rear closer to -0.5 / 0 degrees camber for maximum traction and tyre efficiency.
There is a heap of options as to what exact arms I could have chosen but in the end I decided to give the GKTech V4 arms a go as they are a local company and have a pretty solid reputation.
I did deliberate as to whether or not I should be getting arms with spherical bearings.. although these offer the least amount of movement or play in the arm it comes at a cost of NVH (noise, vibration harshness). In the end I hope that a couple of arms with spherical bearings won't totally ruin the ride comfort in my S15.
Hope you enjoy the video,
Thanks for watching.
