Elizabeth lax who played wendy (bobs secretary) was a great friend of mine in rochdale, lancashire. sadly she passed away in 1996

I notice she was in 'I didn't know you cared' another great series. In the original Likely Lads there was an episode with a wheelchair in a hospital. I think that was Terry pushing Bob as well but I can't be sure. I remember my mum laughing hysterically.

Well don't, pillock. Firstly, Wendy was only supposed to be about 18 and quite naive. Secondly, playing "dim" takes a lot of acting skill and Elizabeth Lax did it very well.

You need to look back at how bad it was for people before the NHS or better still go and live in the US. Then you can pay through the nose and you had better not have any prior conditions.

'Ad away and bollocks to you, my son, The NHS saved my life in 2009 (liver transplant) and our son's in 2014 (appendectomy). WTF are you talking about here, and how about some personal evidential back-up for your asinine comment? Go private if you don't like our public health provision, (for such ailments as having your varicose veins removed). Anything more serious, and you'll be begging the NHS to do it, you ingrate.
