Love the video. Really helps because there’s not much content around these Suzuki and they are really popular here in Greece 🇬🇷

I hate mud...such a mess to clean. I have found that when following a lifted ford pick-up with 44" tires through a mud hole is not a good idea for us little guys, we tend to high center and need a tug to get out. lol Thank You for your comment

The bumpers you have are cool!
@tufftrails

These are actually stock bumpers with the plastic covers removed. We simply painted them after we positioned them in relationship to the body lift. Here in Arizona, we run a lot of desert washes and we seem to tear our plastic bumper covers off...so we simply remove them when we modify our units. I am not sure what you will find behind the 2001 model that you have. We really focus mostly on 1st Gen Trackers/Sidekicks & Vitara's. The 89 Tin Top, has 4.5" dia. steel pipe for bumpers.

Does that copper ish colour on the black tracker bumper have a name ? I like that colour combo .
@tufftrails

When we started some 10 years ago this was our color. Calmini had a light blue color, another had Red so we picked Twisted Copper as our color. The color is a Burnt Copper and is available from VHT, we actually painted one of our Suzuki Sidekicks this color recently. It has a flat finish as it is intended to be a High Temp Engine paint but the metal flake really reacts in the light from the sun and the camera really picks it up and makes it pop. amzn.to/48qSCEl thank you for your comment Matt.

Cool, I had some problems with mine so they are stacked in my garage now. Tires were 33's, didn't want to cut fenders. This build looked better with stock painted wheels and 1" spacers.

@@tufftrails problems what problems? Bolt studs to short ?
@tufftrails

LOL, no, the tires are 33" tires and they hit my lower part of the fenders when turning. Which normally is not a problem, I will just trim the fender, but I didn't want to cut this one. Also they would hit the top of my fenders when getting twisted up on the trails. Again usually not an issue, I would trim the fenders just like recent Twisted Copper Overland Tin-Top Build.

I might put them back on the white 4dr, they did good good on that one. I have a set of 5 32X11.50x15's tires on some jeep wheels that I might use. But not the Jeep wheels, they are 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern and they do not fit our stuff.

Not sure who I am replying to, "Just Me", Sharon, or Bob... This is the video, kzitem.info/news/bejne/w2mlzattp6deY4I&ab_channel=TuffTrails Basically it's just a thin sheet of aluminum Diamond Plate like this one amzn.to/3FjWkDr 47.5" x 29" is the area that it covers. It has a slight tapper, a bit narrower at the windshield spreading slightly where it meets the roof panel. The roof already has threaded bolt holes that will secure your Targa top, so you do not need to drill, Just find the bolts that you need, two on each side. Bending the sides down can be down slowly using a vise, just work it slowly until it matches the contour you like. Cutting the material is probably best with a high speed "air" cut-off wheel, but can also be accomplished with a Sawz-all type hand held battery powered or electric saw with a metal blade or possibly with a jig-saw and a metal blade. The Targa top will seal on the seal around the opening and will not leak once tightened down. The thickness of the metal in the link amzn.to/3FjWkDr is thin enough to bend easily and thick enough to make a solid mount. The next one I do I will make a good video... send me an email and we can swap cell#'s if you run into issues. Wizard2Wizards@Gmail.com Thank you for your question, I hope this helps.

This is the size that I use, thicker, stronger and a bit harder to bend and shape amzn.to/3PY81o4 it's 1/8" thick. The link that I gave you in the previous reply, is just about 1/16" thick so it should easy to bend and shape by hand.

The 31" tires work well on or off road. The big 33" tires do really well off-road but are terrible o road. Thank You for your question
