Absolutely agree on the CA vs epoxy for the tail control rod👍

My problem is, epoxy SEEMS like the best option. But SURELY if epoxy was the better option they wouldnt tell you to use CA over epoxy. I know they give you the option of both but their prefered option is CA, and i would find it very very hard to believe they would tell you the preferred option is CA if epoxy was actually better. I agree completly that intuition says epoxy is better, but id bet any money in this particular situation bonding these matterials that CA is probably the stronger choice with both being acceptable. Someone with money to waste should buy two SAB push rods, glue one with gel CA and another with a high quality epoxy and test them for tensile strenght and see which one gives out first. BTW i completely cringed when he said he used 5 minute epoxy (its absolutely fine) but fast setting epoxies are the absolute weakest epoxies you can buy. the slowest setting ones are the strongest, the slower the better. With the fast ones youre trading strenght for speed and convienence and vice versa.

i built one and i hated the build but love how it looks...such a complicated build...after a serious crash it must be a nightmare to repair....i avoid flying mine and instead fly my other 600 and 700 heli,s...i cannot wait to get rid of it...i will never buy another SAB heli again and it serves me right for not looking at a build video before buying one.....impossible to check belt tension also as there is no space. Gonna switch to Tron

It is kind of a tough over complicated build. But I gotta tell you. It's probably the best flying helicopter I have ever flown, I would never part with it , But I agree with you, my friend.I would never want to crash it

What about the transmission. Its sealed unit with grease. Cant find any maintance recommendation. Asked around and everyone on boards say to just use no maintance needed. Doesnt the transmission grease get dirty, old, ect?

It's sealed with Grease from the factory but you do have to replace the Grease every so many flights
