Great reaction as always. Sabaton live shows are epic, whether a small venue with a thousand people (yes, they still play those shows) or a festival with over a hundred thousand. All of their shows have incredible interaction with their fans from banter to sing along. I saw them in October, 2022 at the Ryman in Nashville, TN, USA. This is a smaller venue (2362 seats), and they put on an awesome show. Yes, they had their tank (they have 2 tanks, Audie and Walther, Audie was used on the US tour), but limited pyro due to the venue. Regardless of the crowd size, these guys obviously put their hearts into their music and have a blast on stage. they toured with Judas Priest in 2021, a tour that was sadly cut short by Richie Faulkner's health issues. Sabaton put together a last-minute impromptu show in Denver at the Ogden Theater (1600 capacity) and played for 2-1/2 hours, letting the crowd choose some of the songs. Sadly, no official video of the concert but several fan videos can be found on KZitem if you are interested.

Can you guys check out Ghost Division at Woodstock 2012, the crowd and band goes wild at this. Or The Ballad Of Bull, the song to me just gives off different vibes

They have several live performances on here that are good quality videos to check out. "Ghost Division" from I think Woodstock 2012 (?), "En liv stig i krig" from the Great Tour 2019 (or 2020, can't remember which), and "The Price of a Mile" from Waken 2019.

Well, what I have heard. They don't consider themselves power metal. But more just heavy metal, speed.

Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band from Falun, which was formed in 1999. The band's songs are inspired by various historical wars. Even the band name is military inspired, as Sabaton is also the name of the part of the armor that covers the foot. Sabaton has 3 historians to help him, who partly look for interesting stories that have happened to make music on but also for Sabaon's History channel kzitem.info?search_query=sabaton+history+channel BUT also fans around the world can submit interesting war stories that have happened in their country and the historians review and see if it's true and all the facts they need. The band Sabaton takes care of everything themselves and has 100 employees, 12 long-distance trucks that are used to transport all the necessary equipment. You manage the sale of the tickets to their concerts yourself, they book the hotels themselves, the arenas they will play in, they book the plane tickets themselves. as well as their employees manage the sales of their clothes, souvenirs and music. As I said, you don't have an outsider who costs a lot of money, and thanks to Sabaton handling everything themselves, they can keep ticket prices down. When they toured around Sweden, a regular concert ticket cost 575 kroner and those who bought a VIP ticket to be with the bands before the concert started paid 680 kroner.

The footage in this music video is from the doc below. It gives an insight into the backstage & tour life as well as their personalities etc. SABATON - Plzeň 2019 (Concert film) kzitem.info/news/bejne/tIF4232dkYiqnoI "The 40 minute concert film focuses on Sabaton's show at the Liberation Festival in Plzeň, Czech Republic, on May 4th 2019. It features footage from the band's visit to Plzeň, behind the scenes, rehearsal videos and live footage from Sabaton's show at the Liberation Festival." Also there is this, its 23 min. Includes interviews, rehearsals, tiny bits of the actual show and feelings after. Insight into how a band as big as they were doing at the time. The road to the EXIT festival kzitem.info/news/bejne/zqyo34pspmqihno - It's from their first LIVE show after live shows were (sort off) OK again in 2021. BOTH are worth seeing, though the top one first obviously! Also their live stuff is great!

This is where the tanks may have been confusing... the documentary is the tour kickoff, and a real tank was driven in for a band photoshoot...but there is also a stage set tank that is Hannes' drum riser...and yes, it shoots pyro!

The Great War and The War To End All Wars… the latter of which seems rather unfitting after it helped launch WW2, which *did* pretty much end the massive wars in Europe (at least for the last 80 years).
