Sabudana Egg Sweet Porridge
Servings - 10
INGREDIENTS
Sago - 80 grams
Water - 220 milliliters
Water - 400 milliliters
Eggs - 2
Milk - 200 milliliters
Green cardamom - 2 pods
Cinnamon stick - 1
Milk - 180 milliliters
Nutmeg powder - 1/8 teaspoon
Jaggery powder - 40 grams
Jaggery powder - for garnishing
PREPARATION
1. Place a strainer on the top of the bowl, add 80 grams sago, 220 milliliters water and wash it well.
2. Transfer, this into a bowl, add 400 milliliters water and soak for 2 hours.
3. In a bowl, add 2 eggs and whisk it well. Keep aside.
4. Take a deep pan, add 2 pods green cardamom, 1 cinnamon stick and boil for 3 - 4 minutes.
5. Remove it from heat and strain it.
6. Add whisked eggs and whisk it well.
7. Take a heavy skillet, add prepared mixture and stir well.
8. Add 180 milliliters milk and cook for 3 - 4 minutes.
9. Add soaked sago and cook for 2 - 3 minutes.
10. Cover it with lid and cook for 10 - 12 minutes.
11. Open the lid and stir well.
12. Remove it from heat and cool for 5 minutes.
13. Transfer, this into a bowl, add 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg powder, 40 grams jaggery powder and mix it well.
14. Garnish with jaggery powder.
15. Serve.
