It's a pity you don't see an Aussie F-111C/G doing a "dump and burn" the crews did it all the time when putting a show on for the public.

F-111 is a much better bomber than an F-15E

Ya we miss the F-111's too, us Aussie's (Royal Australian Air Force) had the C and G marks got replaced with the F/A-18F Super Hornet and -18G Growler. Seeing a F-111 do a Dump and Burn that's something you don't forget.

I went from Offutt to Lakenheath. Strange to see the F-111 at my first station. Loved that plane!!

If you were ever on The EC alert bird or the glass spare I'm sure we have met. I loved my last year (1987) on the EC-135 flightline!

We most likely did. I worked swings and mids during that time, but I pulled spots 1&2 about 3-4 times a week. Otherwise I would be on the Departing glass missions as the entry controller. Later I pulled entry controller for the two ramp entrances by 2ACCS

@@thomascox7851 I worked mainly second shift 3-11, or 4-12. I pulled alert often and many times worked the launch of the C.
