I remember in the late 90's one of the dudes i went to skhool with got shot in G Parkway. He survived, But before that I never knew this place existed. Different worlds. I was a metal head in Rancho attending Kinney. Other dude was on some gangster shit. But honest words, He was always kool with me as far as everyday respekt. I hope he is doing well all these years later.

I remember my step bro went to Alicante Continuation school and lived in a couple group homes around that time and I can remember him telling me about Gparkway. This was before Gparkway got well known because Mac Dre affiliation.

@@SacUnderBelly No doubt. Man i bounced out the 'Cho around 2001/2002. Never looked bakk. I post out in the 530 foothills now. It's funny tho kuzz you mention MacDre. For awhile all these white kids out here with hella opportunities and loving family strukkture we're struggling to be ghetto with it up here. It's a paradox. Like i grew up in Celly Cell and Wu-Tant via proxy to my kuzzins as a kid. Like being a metal head kept my mind open. But it's funny when these kids where I'm at now don't know about paper good stamps and twomp saks. But they the hardest trust fund babies in the hills and shit. It's fukking laughable. Honest words, i grew up in one of those hood plexes off Coloma road from the late 80's thru the 90's. I ain't saying it was the hardest shit. Just saying real life is real life. I give thanks to the old God every day. Make the best out of the worst and hold a humility to that edukation. Life is short. P.S. Killa Kali is metal as fukk. Killa for the Skrilla slumps like fukk. I kan always hear that shit transposed in my mind with live drums and guitar. Just heavy as fukk. And dude, that beat tho, that shit kould be filling annihilated with the right drummer. The beat space is legit built with DooM. Like how jazz is metal as fukk when you dissekt that shit. Or you get a jazz drummer destroying audio math in a metal drumming kontext. Lol.. anyways tho. Yeah. Salute from the gold hills man. Have a great day.

Isn't G-Mobb the only gang in Sacramento that flags black rags and isnt Blood or Crip?

The area seems clean and calm now. The violence back in the late 80's, 90's, and into the early 2000's was due to the crack epidemic. Many decent Black communities were distroyed, purposely targeted and inundated with crack cocaine brought in from outside sources. A once prosperous and thriving neighborhood, was turned into a war zone for over two decades. It would be interesting to see the area at night. Thank you for the tour.😊

Rich? Bruh there used to be 200 mf outside in there back in the day. They kicked every one out. I know neighborhoods in south central LA that look nicer than this and you're not gonna call them wannabes lol. If you would have walked in the G with that attitude I guaranteed they would have stripped for everything you own and no one would come save you. I remember one time a mf from NY came in there with the same attitude he left that mf in his draws lol. They stripped for everything lol

Back In the day every other townhouse was boarded up. Hella abandos with dope fiends smoking inside them. They had murder alley on one side then they had crip alley on the otherside with all the GBC 🥷
