You've done right. You helped others. No sweat. Hope you don't feel too bad. Give details in your next video. I'll send (somehow) a commiseration. C'mon girls and boys give a good man a lift.♥️

Sorry to hear that mate. Wise decision to abort in the circumstances. We all know what bad weather can be like in the hills. You helped the others to safety too, what a top bloke you are! 👍

That was a hard video to make, with a harrowing lesson to others who may not have been as prepared as you were.

Four seasons in an hour when you’re in the hills! Hold your head up mucker, I’m glad you’ve made the right decision and can fight another day. And brought others out of the danger too. Ian

@@bugler75 Mate. God knows what would have happened if I hadn't bumped into them. The lady was in floods of tears. None of hem had a compass or emergency whistle! Trying to find the tracks we should have followed was impossible! I managed to set a bearing and Marched on it. We had to do a lot of climbing, which in reality was unnecessary, but to stay on the heading, we had to!

Nice of you to rescue those people, Dont worry about the walk we are proud of you was there for a reason to help guide those people back in, I have a great idea why dont you continue the walk in your own area and do the distance we would all support you in that and complete your challenge that way

@@Jean-MarcBordeaux reason was to ensure their safety. Nice idea about continuing. Rack up the miles and then do the last leg from Grosmont into Robin Hoods Bay as the finale!
