My man Jack having a spiritual experience listening to Sade 😂 You got to do a deep delve into her catalogue, it's the best in all of music PERIOD. She has so much good music, it's insane. If you liked this song, you need to check out the "Love Deluxe" album, this was just the first song off that masterpiece 😂 Songs that you will love from that same album are "Kiss of life", "Cherish the day" and "Bulletproof Soul". I love me some Mariah Carey too but SADE will always be my number 1, her music is just that well rounded.

I'm so glad we get to witness your first Sade reaction! Sade (which is the name of both the band associated with these songs and their sole vocalist/namesake, Sade Adu) does a lot of ambient smooth jazz, sophisti-pop, and trip hop, and with those genres there's a lot of emphasis on the song's atmosphere and musical experimentation. Also, Sade is from the UK and those genres were popular there in the early nineties (this one is from 1992). You are among many others who describe the singer Sade's vocal stylings as an otherwordly experience. She is truly unique

FINALLY you got to the Goddess Sade. You´ll get this feeling with every song Sade has ever done (BTW Sade is a name of a group named after their signer Sade Adu). You need to listen to this LIVE from 2011. She´s even more mesmerizing live. Some more live tips: Love is Stronger than Prince - live from San Diego - the coolest version of a song that Prince called the most beautiful of all. Paradise - live from San Diego - one of the greatest live performances EVER. Cherish the day -- live from San Diego even smoother than No Ordinary Love if that´s possible. Watch her Kiss of Life (Lovers live) - the audience reactions is just priceless. Her songs, Jezabel (live from 2011) - the musicians are not playing the instruments during that song, they are making love to it Pearls (live from 2011) - are some of the most emotional stuff you´ll ever hear. Her music is just some of the deepest and most sensual EVER. And when she sings live, she´s got these souful male singers and together, she sounds like Mariah and Luther together. I think Mariah is technically a better singer (noody sings like her), but the way their voices complement each other - just divine. This woman is a LEGEND, even though she may not seem as "popular" as others. That´s because she does one or two albums in a DECADE, gives you this type of music that also charts, but you don´t see her anywhere. She´s hardly given an interview in her life (and she´s been singing since the early 80´s), she attends no stupid TV shows, she´s got an instagram, but there are only like 6 pictures and they´re all her album covers. She just lives her life quietly, comes out once in couple of years and of course, her fans are always READY to hear her new stuff because we know she´s gonna give us something nobody else will. All her albums from the 80´s and this album Love Deluxe - timeless masterpieces. BTW Jay-Z wanted to record with her and she respectfully declined. lol

The original song is actually 7 epic minutes long. This song, along with the rest of its album LOVE DELUXE, were produced around 91-92, and unlike most of the material produced at that time, it doesn't have the time stamp of that time sound-wise. Truly timeless. Possibly Sade's best album.

I've had the pleasure seeing Sade live twice. And when I say her show was just pure perfection I'm not lying or exaggerating and I've seen Mariah, Janet, Ms. Lauryn Hill and Madonna live. And Sade didnt even have a curtain or train on her dress out of place. Everything and everyone was in place perfectly set. Listening and seeing her live reminds me of that ethereal feeling you get watching the Alien sing in the 5th Element. Next I recommend Jezebel from her. Beautiful music. Beautiful story. 🌻💜
