Next I came to WR in Granite City. This is located at Niedringhaus Avenue which has a Safetran type-1 and a nonfunctional GRS gate mechanism, which is really cool. The middle signals were installed by TRRA (the near in the 90s, the far more recently), while the outer signals were installed a while before. The LEDs were added by TRRA sometime in the 2000s. Then very recently, all the emergency info signs were changed to NS, so I guess NS owns this crossing now.
Here we see an NS local cross this neat crossing in Granite City, with a NS SD40-2 with an awesome P5 for power. Enjoy!
