Honestly would not have been able to write the instructional manual for Sage if it weren't for you, bookkeepingmaster. I'm a content writer and I almost quit my job because of this task. Since I know nothing about Accounting and absolutely dread tech-related things, you did a great job at enabling me to write all these instructions worth 6k words. So grateful to you!!!!!!

Can I ask your advice Bookkeeping Master? How does a voluntary organisation record funding received from government? This is funding to pay wages and expenses for the next 3 years. Do I enter the lump sum in the current account as a debit today and where does the credit go? Do I set up a specific Revenue account with the funding name i.e. Dept of Agriculture funding phase 1. How do I also allocate cost/expenses against this funding? Can you help me with this please?
