The clear was spot on and I think you're right on going up a size on the base nice job Paul 👏👏👏

Thanks Dean, they are nice guns. I just needed more fluid from the base it felt awkward to move my arm that slow while applying it.

Hi, apologies for the delay in replying. I borrowed these guns, they were both 1.2xl. The 1.2xl for clear was beautiful but the 1.2xl for base was really slow I would definitely get a 1.3 in the base if I were to buy some Sagolas. Thanks

How people feel about these guns is confusing. They tore apart the 4500 model then the 4600 came out and it was the greatest thing ever and they'll never go back...only some did go back. I feel like the company has changed hands a few times and they weren't really available for a while. I would love to see the inside of the gun as I'm told there's no o-rings, baffles, or gaskets. So does that mean there's nothing to shrink the pattern over time??

Hi K R, I just borrowed these from a guy at my work I haven't bought them. I just wondered how they sprayed and thoughtit would make good content. They dont have any gaskets or baffles under the air cap, there's probably pictures online of it. I don't know much about the history either but liked the guns. I do think there are a lot of quality guns for that price point so it makes choosing a spray gun difficult lol

Great review Paul, have you used Iwata WS and LS 400 and if so how do you think they compare to the Sagola ? ….. Cheers 👍

Hey Steve, I really like the Iwata's. I have only used them once or twice but I would say the fan pattern is bigger on the iwata and I prefer the feel of the iwata in the hand the Sagola seems almost square. If I were to choose between the 2 I would probably buy the Iwata's. That said a new gun is always nice whatever brand it is lol.

Paul its andy I have subscribed to your channel 😀 I have a pps cup system paul when I put the liner inside the cup and I put the filter lid on its seems to be pushing the liner inside causing it to leak paint and advice please 😀

Hey Andy, what pps system are you using? 3m? Mirka? I don't really have any idea to be honest. Dose it seem like a production issue ie bad batch of lids?

I could see that the base went on a little slow compared to your Walcom, in fact it even looked slower than my DV1 B+ 1.2. The clear went on great Paul nice, flat and glassy👌 When I was looking for my first pro clear gun it was either the Sagola 4600 or the GTI ProLite it took me a while to decide but ended up with the GTI and kept with Devilbiss all the way with all three of the DV1 guns and love them but recently got the Sata X5500 RP 1.2 I digital which again is a great gun, have you tried the Sata X5500 Paul? if so what do you think of it? 🙏👍

I love the X5500 and would like to get a couple of them. SATA has always been a great gun and always will. I need to get hold of some for a video. I borrowed these from a guy at work he was leaving that week so I thought this is my only chance to do a video on them, so I did lol love the dv1s as well. I like a lot of guns I went all out with Walcom tho I'm starting to use my geo more now so you will probably see more of that in the videos.

Thanks for the reply Paul, I remember you saying that you wanted to get a couple of Sata's, you should contact Sata and get a couple of loan guns. Again when I was looking for a non Devilbiss gun it was a choice between the Walcom or the Sata but a few people told me that the Sata was the better made gun, I don't regret getting the Sata one bit it's just than now I want the Sata base gun but don't have the budget atm 🤷♂️😭😂

Probably the same if I'm honest, the base coat gun is a little slow for me. But nice guns all the same.
