I remove the SAI pump, kombi valves and all vacuum lines and solenoid associated to the system - only after explaining what the secondary air injection system is and what it does and how it works. I'll remind you: do not remove any part of the SAI system if you do not know how your car will respond or how your tune has compensated for the delete.
Stage 1 removal: Remove the pump and hoses, cap the inlet port on the OEM airbox and the air pipe attached to the outlet hose.
Stage 2 removal: The easy version is to remove the vacuum line connecting the valves to the front solenoid and to cap all three ports. The hard version is to remove the kombi valves, their pipes, and cover the entry ports on the head with block off plate. And cap the solenoid.
Stage 3 removal: Remove the grey 2-port solenoid in front of the intake manifold and either cap the T fitting or connect the main vacuum lines together after the T has been removed.
