Another great video, thank you. I binged on the Athena series and just caught up, which means that I have watched your skills grown in a time lapse format. You are an inspiration to all of your subscribers with your ability to stay with it when things got tough and willingness to tackle any project, no matter how daunting. This comment may come too late but I would recommend that you abandon the insulation material you purchased and switch to spray applied polyurethane foam instead. Build the interior box as you described here but have a local spray foam contractor apply three inches of closed cell foam to it. This type of foam is extremely strong and it is impervious to moisture damage, it also happens to provide the best insulation values of all your choices. You will have a light but strong assembly. If you bring your shell to the contractor while he is spraying foam at a job site, it will be a quick and easy thing for him to do for you and the cost should be very reasonable. I would do it for free to thank you for the pleasure your work has provided me but since I am on the opposite side of the Atlantic, that is probably not a viable option. Looking forward to the Athena splashing....

I learned from a boatbuilding friend of mine to always use matchsticks or similar on the outside edges of the throughull fittings when adding the sealant. The reason is that you create a gasket effect when there are a couple of millimeters between the hull and the edge of the fitting. The next day when the sealant has dried enough you torque up the inside nut and you will never see a leak! The way I think you did it by torquing the nut strait away means that too much sealant would be squeezed out giving less of a sealing surface. Part from all that I'm impressed by your work and perseverance to bet Athena to be your dream boat.

Looked like it was incased in glass. Using the epoxy might be a great game changer. They a couple trim pieces and see how bbn it works and show bbn us on the next video. Nothing looks better inside a boat than wood trim tabs incased in glass. Seems so eloquent and warning.

Mads, great work on Athena, she is looking fabulous. On your drawers, you seem to have binding from the wood slides and extra space in the slides. Try rubbing bees wax or candle wax on the wood slide area that will provide a bit of slip to them and make them glide much smoother for you. Hi Mads, Great job on the cabinets and the corner rounding, hint, get rid of that messy powdered guide coat stuff, grab a couple of cans of cheap flat black paint and dust it on before sanding, also continue this process on your high build primer and undercoat, and even between paint coats if you wish, this method is great for wet sanding as well even through to your sanding and buffing, that's the way the auto industry does it and i see no difference here, all the best from Aus, Allan
