Your seamanship (can we still call it that? ) puts several high profile Australian, New Zealand and American channels to shame. Small example, having a dedicated shackle to lash the anchor to you. Boat looking great after the shave and haircut, and you two are at the top of your game. Full respect and admiration.❤

Hi Amy & Matt, Have followed your world travels every step of the way. Hugely enjoyable! You are now doing exactly what I had been planning for years, to undertake single-handed in my retirement. Boat (Sabre 27)ready, I'm ready and then a terminal and aggressive cancer diagnosis. Life can be tough! Anyway, if you are planning to stop in Milford Haven, my home port, I would be very privileged if we could meet so that I could shake your hands, talk sailing and thank you for all the pleasure you've given me. I know this may seem very presumptuous , so I won't be offended if I don't hear from you. You can always say you're past Milford Haven already! 😊

Worked in the oil industry on both the Shetland Isle's and The Orkneys in the early 90's. I am so glad that the quality of videography is giving these two island's justice and exposing their true beauty and amazing history. I have since been living in Sarawak, Malaysia for twenty seven years, but my heart still gives a flutter when I see my home country, Bonnie Scotland. Well done Matt and Amy, you guys are Legend's..

Well, as I have said before, I don't think any other sailing channel equals your skill in filming seascapes - that short sequence with the leaden waves and a dolphin was a great example. And you have provided the best views of the Ring of Brodgar and Skara Brae that I have ever seen. I don't know how you do it, but your filming gave a sense of scale and perspective that I have never seen before. It isn't easy to get to those places when you live in Aotearoa, so I am very grateful for your skills in bringing those places alive. The same could be said about your filming of the Broch - a quality and explanation I have never seen before. Thank you times lots and lots!

The purpose of the circle of rocks was in pagan worship of the constellations. The full circle represents 360 degrees. The practice was common. There was messages in the stars they believed. Before you get too impressed with electric cars, realize a new battery for a Chevy Volt & Tesla cost about $30k! They won't go far enough. They're very heavy & wear our tires much faster. They're not recycled like a metal block of an engine is melted down & reused. If you gave me an electric car I would sell it the very next day faster than you can make tea. It's nice to see you-guys having fun & being safe.

@@MrJoelkamins Sorry Just realised you've got a catamaran , that means you've 2 motors and 2 sets of batteries , I think when you say 1 hr gives 8hrs under power I think you mean 8mins , that is unless you've got a small nuclear reactor onboard.

@@stephenauty2402 I have 9x 440w panels. 6 on arch, 3 on coach roof… Generator is 21.5k I can motor at 4 knots for 24 hours, only charging for 3 hours.
