Had at laugh at 9:12 - "Sometimes we go on a hike that is called "challenging" and it really isn't . . . this time it turns out they weren't fibbing". Welcome to the time-honoured rite of "sand-bagging" the grade for an Aussie climb ! Thank you for a very enjoyable video. Looking forwards to seeing the next video showing us over Florence.

Had not noticed problems with audio quality in earlier videos but that shows what a good job you did at covering it up. Wind noise and low volume are all to common with these home make travel videos. New equipment should improve future segments. Those mountains were fantastic.

Catching up... Which is what I am mostly saying on these older vids. I began watching sailing Vids first with Ben and Ashley on NAHOA and then the Trautman Bros. on DELOS. I back tracked on both of them when I found that I really liked them. I branched out, including FLORENCE. But I didn't go back and watch your earlier vids until now. I must say, I am really getting into not just your vids but you TWO! Your personalities compliment each other so well and yet you are both so much calm... most of the time. Thank you so much for these vids. Waiting for your sail out of Namibia.

Seeing this great video reminded me of going up Mt Warning, further down the Gold Coast from where you are just now. Also required some challenging scrambling in places. Did this hike while visiting with my dear brother Jim York and his family, who were living near Murwillumbah at the time. The sound quality is indeed excellent, so you made a good purchase! Enjoy Australia, what a great country.

It's pissing rain in Montreal, 🇨🇦 and we are on quarantine so not even a walk outside but we are slowly catching up to you at about 8 knots, strong headwinds (ie work from home). Very much enjoying your adventure. Australia looks beautiful from your boat. Hope you are not stuck somewhere in a marina. Better off at anchor while the world quarantines itself. Cheers! Nice to see you two,Australia has a few piles of rock that are a challenge to reach the summit of,glad you had the opportunity to sample one that's not too bad.Moreton Island is fun, unfortunately where you took the dinghy ashore, the tide will do that to you, there are other places where you could literally take Florence within half a dozen metres of the shore. But it's all fun👍😊

Thanks! We have a homemade bracket that slides up our mast track, holding the gopro. We attach a halyard to the top and a long line to the bottom so we can pull it down again. It only works if the mainsail is down.

You are a beautiful beautiful young couple, doing an extraordinary adventure. Your conservative humility touches my heart. I’m sure I am not the only viewer that feels so. I just keep wondering, with such nerves of steel, having done such a huge thing, sailed around the earth, how will you go back to a normal life? What will entertain you, a weekend on the lake, watching the kids play ball? Texas

@@MattWilliams7 In full agreement. Thousands of people watch this for free all paid out of the pockets and time and effort of the makers. I'd sooner give them a dollar for this than to someone panhandling on the street.
