after watching some-latest episodes of the year 2024, pamukkale, ephesus, istanbul, etc. i've decided to watch you, jordan-desiree, from the beginning. in this s02e02 episode, (1:26) when it's your first time to stop the engine and began sailing, in that precious moment of harmony of yours with the sea, waves and the wind, i loved to listen and watch you and wanted to thank you for sharing these with me/us. thank you.

A year later, Deseree & Jason, I am so very happy for you both and your/our coming baby, I think that I loved your/our Atticus as much, if possible, as you did. You put so very much love and thought into her reconstruction, rehabilitation, great and valuable improvements. I loved seeing you sailing with that huge spinnaker and flying the mizzen staysail. On my Challenger 35 ketch, I loved sailing off & downwind with my Staysail up and the boat simply steering herself. I could see myself sitting in your cockpit just relishing how beautifully Atticus sailed with the wind. You both have grown and developed so very much along and with Atticus. You did a marvelous job of defining Atticus II, seeking her out and acquiring and improving her. You both have earned the respect and value of the vendors at your hatch. May God protect, guide and be ever present with you and you coming child. You brighten my life.

I just wanted to comment.....I can't imagine the feeling of accomplishment you must have felt at the time of your first sail. The amount of work you put into this project is staggering. I picked up your channel watching some of your current footage and decided to see what you guys had to do to get started and I have to tell you my mind was blown. Congratulations on such an achievement........heck just to complete that rebuild....wow. I am so impressed with you guys and will catch up with all of your episodes as I remain home bound for my project rebuild .....right shoulder.

I don't know if I buy that story, but I do know I will give them their space! Haha! I'm glad they didn't decide to snack on me!

Sailing on a Peterson 42 from Mazatland to PV, finally took off my sea bands (wrist pressure points to combat sea sickness), dropped the hook, rafted next to a 75' yacht, had just caught a Mahi Mahi shortly after dropping the drag line, cooking in their yacht galley... sicker than a dog. Sliced ginger under the tongue and hanging onto the 60' mast in the salon. Where is the nav station? Ours was down the stairs to the right. Kindle 4-way self leveling stove to the left. 14 sails, push-button bosun's chair, 5 (at $1,000 each) large flotation waterproof bags with water sensors, in case we hit a dead head, coral reef or sand bar. Sailed off the coast of Mexico through the Isla Isabela to PV, largest concentration of Albatross in the World. Amazing. Could walk right up to the nests, 400 feet above the Pacific on the south side of an inactive volcano. Blue Footed Boobies nests. So beautiful.
