I loved hearing the wonderful account of Therese's 'dumpster fire ' visit to Rome. So much to learn there.

God bless you ~ in Jesus Holy Name. Thank you for witnessing your Joy of the Lord (Gal 5:22-23) ~ hearing your laughs and seeing your peaceful AND joyful disposition makes me happy ~ and ~ I believe is a powerful mode of attraction to the life of prayer and service to Jesus Christ ~ Our Father ~ in The Holy Spirit.

My apologies to Fr. Michael-Joseph, I have definitely made the comment about the young Therese being a spoiled brat!

I come from a fundamentalist Calvinistic background which I find very harsh and lacking in beauty. I find the kind of spirituality being discussed here has far more depth, substance and beauty to it. Unfortunately Calvinistic Protestantism has removed most of the depth, awe and beauty of spirituality from the Christian walk, in favor of a dry theological dogmatism .
