I received this engine dismantled and the owner already ordered a new connecting rod for it was obvious that it needed to be replaced. I was worried about the crank pin but I was able to give it a polish and It looked and fitted fine.
I replaced one rocker pin, some of the gaskets, o-rings, and one of the Teflon covers on the piston wrist pin, lapped the valves to get them to seal, and after some slow and long-running in time, it ran very well.
