I used to have one of those in a semi scale Sopwith Pup. Took off in about 6ft but sounded great once in the air. I ended up selling the whole thing to a guy who wanted it just for the engine.

I love this Engine, I have one on a 60 size Ugly Stick. Love the sound of it.. O yes im watching.....

Glad you found this video wish I would have got one of those value hobby ugly stick 60s before they stopped selling ‘em gonna have to find an airframe to put it on it’s one the best running engines I have.

@@millerrc5829 Yes it is a nice running engine. One thing I did was to put remote Glow Drivers on it to make sure it don't loose a cylinder like I did on first flight and landed it in Tree, I use glow driver at take off and landing to make sure both cylinders stay on.

@@jcherry50 yes it is a very good idea to use a on board glow driver especially for twin cyl engines.

What was the max rpm ? 8100? Hmm you should be able to get 8600-9000 with a 13x6 prop

That run is when I just rebuilt it and when I first run rebuilt engines I leave them pretty rich. The tachometer said 7700 max but I’ve since leaned it out and am getting 8900 rpm
