So glad i sent the old Saito engine for your loving restoration to it's former glory. No body does it better than Capt Blaz and Pilot Robert. A few tweaks on the mixture and air bleed after run in and it should be like a fine Swiss watch. Salute from your friend Adrian, now LannaKing in Thailand.

I am sort of hiding the comment here... Notice SAITO FG60R3 three-cylinder 60cc failure. A YT video shows this Zero flying and having an engine failure. I really like Saito engines and thought you would be interested in this incident. kzitem.info/news/bejne/2J6pnHtrh2OTfno For some reason, the engine cut out after 3 minutes and 50 seconds of flying. They found that the engine has failed internally, and all three connecting rod's large end bearings failed. They wore out into oval shapes and they can't understand why because the engine had four fuel tanks run through before the maiden flight. My guess it that the incorect fuel/oil mixture was used in this flight. The rods could be aluminum alloy subject to friction heating.
