That's a great video with many very nice shots of the best moves, nice job. The model is very interesting, it must be big to have that 100cc twin on it, they're not light. It sounds like you're not revving it over maybe 7000 or so, will it turn much faster? How about prop pitch and dia., what are you running there? The model must be a good size too, is it an off-the-shelf model or home made? Could be a Big Stik, they come pretty big. I'm building a scaled up Ugly Stik for an FA-130TD, but that's from scratch, scaled up from the Phil Kraft plans. If it flies like yours I'll be pretty happy!

does this motor really weigh 9 pounds and 10 with ignition? No way he can be flying that wide open.

...it's not a 2 stroke on a pipe.

That doesn't sound like full RPM to me, and that wouldn't surprise me. A 100cc 4-stroke should have a ton of torque, my guess is the model doesn't have a high pitched prop on it. With that torque it should be easily able to twist a prop with a lot of pitch on it and haul a Stik with authority. I'd be interested to hear what the builder says

Horizon/saito can't figure out how to tune the engines they build and supply for a demo... ? 4 strokes always have way less jam than the equivalent displacement 2 stroke, and saito's gassers always have less jam than the equivalent glow... not surprised at all to see it's not a rocketship. Perfect engine for a 1/3 or 40% cub.
