Hi MMM - I followed your instructions and successfully installed this timing mod to my Saito 60 and what a difference it makes. I can now start the engine by hand and the idle was just great with smooth transition to full power - all the lumpiness is now gone - thanks for producing the mod it really does work. Kind Regards Thomas

Does the electronic ignition delays ignition in function from measured rpm ? You should see to the code in the controller. Or build a new one ? have been doing that for a motorbike.

HI MMM, are your 3 magnets at 120° - 120° - 120°, or at 126° - 126° _ 108° due to the connecting rods (master and slaves) design ?

Good day sir I also own an FG60 - r3 I would like to know what you charge for doing the intake modification And do I need to send the whole engine or can you just do the rear plate ? I would also like to do your timing upgrade For improved starting and idling ! Also would like to know what peak rpm you are achieving after these modifications Thank you Matt

Did you know that everything what you say about the RcExl Ignition is totaly wrong? because you have to make the measurement when the magnet is leaving the sensor to adjust the ignition angle and not on the entry! (Look at RcExle Hompage for Ignition adjustment) We measured an original FG-60 and it has the perfect ignition angle! nobody needs an adjustable ring

Team Infinity hi Thanks for your input There are 3 comments on this video very similar to yours as well so let me explain how everyone is getting confused I have been working alongside RCEXL since 2012 when this first series of ignition release There are two different timing settings The timing that you guys are referring is for single cylinder and even fire twin engines and sensor is a single sensor that can work or 1 North or south magnet The time in this video is for uneven fired engines that is the way RCEXL has program this ignition unit it works with uneven fire twin 3 cylinders 4 cylinders 5 cylinders 7 cylinders and 9 cylinders ignitions And this unit would only fire in the location where the magnets is located and any angle the magnets are, the ignition will fire If you don’t believe me send a message to RCEXL The designer and programmer Thanks Morris

Hello! I also thought it worked this way, but it work like this. Specification for timing is 30BTDC when Magnet ENTER the sensor Under 200 RPM all 3 plugs fire for easy start. and fires WHEN MAGNET LEAVES THE SENSOR !!! After 200 RPM it starts to fire in sequence 1-3-2 and FIRE WHEN MAGNET ENTER the sensor. Curve is util 4000 RPM after that is 30 BTDC (or your static timing you put in) we recommend 30BTDC

Your comment is correct for the single and flat engines, but not for the radials. (with N & S magnets)
